Dr. Stephen J. Beck has practiced in Longview, TX since 1983. He had one of the first in-office laser systems in the United States in 1986 and was the first to practice Mohs Micrographic Surgery in Longview, TX. We became Dermatology and Skin Cancer Clinic in the late 1980’s and brought multiple new treatment modalities: lasers and intense pulsed light systems.
Cosmetics were designed for hiding wrinkles or pigment problems. As dermatology has evolved we know there are many powerful agents which have long lasting effects on wrinkling and pigmentation. Unfortunately, sometimes it is difficult to separate the hype from true real changes that can be seen using these agents. These chemicals are called Cosmeceuticals.
In an effort to better educate our patients about skin care the Advanced Skin and Laser Center was established in October of 1997. At one time this was a free standing center, but in order for Dr. Beck to see patients this was again incorporated into the main Dermatology and Skin Cancer Clinic location at:
